Hey Jon, i am a new and quickly growing fan of yours, i found a video of you singing about the spanish peaks. I myself have grown up around the peaks and fell in love with your song. Do you have it on one of your albums that i could purchase? If you could tell me which album i can guarantee you a sale. Thank you so much for what you do.
Hello Jon!
I just found your info on Marty Grant’s site that displays my family geneaology. I see you are attached to the Pattersons of Rye and Laveta CO as am I! I am decended of Burton Moore b. SC Feb 28,1818 d. Feb 15, 1885 in Rye CO, his sister was Jane Moore-Patterson, wife of Capt Samuel Patterson. I am happy to find you here in Colorado, I am in Hot Sulphur Spgs, an hour away from Arvada, I can come down easily to meet you if you would like to share our common heritage. Maybe you would like that I too write poetry, but nothing largely published, but they sure rolled out of me a couple years ago! I am into my family history bigtime for 30 years now, and am studying Ancient Scotland and Northern Ireland. I am a colorful character, lol ALL COLORADO! I look forward to meeting you. I could maybe come Feb 15 to your event? What time does it start and where is it? Well pard, have a great day!
Sincerely,
Karen
Hey, Karen…How great to e-meet you. I’m descended directly from Samuel Patterson and Jane Moore. I’d love to get together sometime. The show tomorrow is sold out, unfortunately, and it’s pretty tough to chat at those things anyway. e-mail me at jon@jonchandler.com and we’ll figure out a way to meet. Take care, and once again, it’s great to meet you.
